Opening of the exhibition “Raffaelo: Opera Omnia”

The opening of the exhibition “Raffaelo: Opera Omnia” took place last night, marking the beginning of the “Week of the Italian Language in the World “.  According to the protocol established for visiting museums and holding events indoors, the opening was held with a strictly defined number of guests.

The Director of the Archaeological Museum, Ms. Slavica Babamova and the Ambassador of Italy, H.E. Andrea Silvestri addressed the guests at the opening.

The Prime Minister of Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Zoran Zaev also addressed the audience, with a written statement.

For the realization of this exhibition we owe a special thanks to Mirko Merletti from RaiCom, to the expert team from the Archaeological Museum: Irena Kolishtrkoska Nasteva, commissioner of the exhibition, Marjan Jaglikovski, outstanding connoisseur of Renaissance art, Martin Gievski, Elena Rafajlovska, Iva Laban, Marija Kolevska Dimishkovska, Stevan Ilijevic, Ivancho Velkov, Branislav Atanaskovic, Marina Spirova, Natalija Danailova, Ivica Stojanovic and Redzep Bekirovski.

As part of its strategy to place special attention to the education of all age groups, the museum’s inclusivity, and in full accordance with the efforts of the Italian Embassy in Skopje, schools of all levels in the Republic of North Macedonia, primary, secondary and vocational,  are invited to visit this exhibition and the accompanying educational workshops.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until 20.12.2021, admission is free.
