Delegation from the European Centre for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments from Greece yesterday, after a working meeting at the Ministry of Culture, visited Kurshumli An and the Archaeological Museum of RNM.
Ms Flora Karagianni from the European Centre for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments (EKBMM) and Ms. Maria Mertzani, Director of the Directorate of Conservation of Ancient and Modern Monuments, were presented with the rich movable cultural heritage on display at the museum, and Kurshumli An as well, as one of the most beautiful cultural monuments in the city.
The European Centre has long-term cooperation with UNESCO, the Council of Europe and other European and international organizations and institutions and during its two decades of existence has noted a wide range of activities that include organizing courses and trainings, awarding scholarships for scientific studies, participation in scientific research projects, as well as participation in national or international programs for scientific research and technological development.
