The high school students from SUGS “Nikola Karev” visit Konjuh and Kuklici

The Archaeological Museum organized a visit to the archeological sites Kuklici and Konjuh for the high school students from SUGS “Nikola Karev”.

The high school students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the phenomenon of earth pyramids or stone dolls in Kuklici, which are a rare phenomenon worldwide. That is why this site is protected as a natural rarity.

The site of Golemo Gradishte, located in the area of ​​the village Konjuh in Kratovo, is the location of the largest Late Antiquity city between Scupi and Pautalia, which undoubtedly was an important and rich administrative, industrial (mining), commercial and church seat in this part of the Dardania province.

The organized site visits for pupils and students will continue because education is our priority.
