The exhibition “Raffaelo: Opera Omnia” coming soon

It is our great pleasure to announce that from October 19, 2021, the traveling exhibition “Raffaelo: Opera Omnia” will be open to visitors at the Archaeological Museum

The Macedonian audience will have a rare opportunity to enjoy museum reproductions of 14 of the most famous portraits by Raffaello Santi (Sanzio), two of which are exhibited in the most visited museum in Europe, the Louvre in Paris, and the rest are exhibited in the most famous Italian galleries: Borghese Gallery and Barberini Palace in Rome, the Uffizi and Palatine Gallery in Florence and the National Gallery in Urbino.

Raffaello Santi, along with Michelangelo Buonarroti and Leonardo da Vinci, represent the trio of greatest artists of the High Renaissance.

This exhibition began to travel around the world in 2020, to commemorate the 500th anniversary of his death.

“Raffaelo: Opera Omnia” has so far been exhibited in Finland, China, Tunisia, Venezuela, Turkey, South Korea and Prishtina.

The exhibition is carried out in collaboration with the Italian Embassy and it will be open to visitors for the next two months, until 20.12.2021.

Admission is free.
