Dr. Radoslav Grujić is one of the founders of contemporary history, art history, archeology and museology.
In 1920 he started working as a professor of national history at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, and then in the period from 1930 to 1937 he was twice elected dean of the faculty of the same name.
The years in which Grujić lived in Skopje are marked as the most intense period in his scientific work.
He is the founder and editor of the Skopje Scientific Society, which he chaired for 16 years, from 1921 to 1937.
Four years after its founding, at his initiative, in 1925 the society started publishing its own herald. The Herald of the Skopje Scientific Society is reckoned among the most important publications in the field of social and historical sciences.
He made a great contribution to the organization and establishment of the Archaeological-Historical Museum in Skopje.
Under his leadership, from 1921 to 1937 the museum quickly expanded its jurisdiction, from collecting archaeological monuments to a museum with an ethnographic-anthropographic and geological-petrographic department.
Dr. Radoslav Grujić was a respected scientist in all European university centers and scientific institutions.
